Even at the school level, there is a lot that could be done to improve the quality of Education and enhance the learning outcome.
Once upon a time in India, the education was happening without writing and reading, and the intelligence level was phenomenal, which could be easily proved, today, we have an opportunity to re-establish wisely certain good practices of yester years with the help of modern technology. Thanks to computers, Internet and the latest communication devices, we can wisely bring back many of our lost glory and better practices in todays running of the schools.
Our historical data reveals, that once upon a time, we had flying objects which carried people from one place to another, and they made good sounds pleasing to the ears, that was the product of an educational system, which combined knowledge with wisdom, and they were eco-friendly too.
Today, such a combination of latest technology with that of the ancient wisdom is possible, to say the least it will also bring lasting peace to this third rock from sun.
I will be very happy to get associated with institutions to take this good work forward.

The need for the change
Every Tom,Dick and Harry is talking about changing the educational system. It seems people find it easy to talk about it. In reality, they do not seem to consider all the pros and cons and as well the checks and balances.
It is a huge area, and it is one of the industry which is in existence for over millenia, I am sure people have not put in enough time and energy, before making such sweeping statements, they are either reacting to one or the other experiences of themselves or repeating the oft said quotes.
There are certain fundamental questions, that needs to be addressed, while taking up such a work.
Why do we educate our younger ones?
This question is answered in many ways, broadly speaking, do we see education as an investment or a non-commercial acitivity. Either of your choices lead to so many more questions and ensuing debates.
How should we educate?
What is the role of literacy in Education? should the children be literate to get educated? How does the literacy influence the education, will it be better off to educate without making them literate? These are serious questions, which will need a deeper research.
When should we educate?
What is the age, the education should start, and when should making them literate start?
How do we evaluate their learning?
and How do we evaluate their education?
The gap between the teaching and learning! what did you intent to teach and what did the other person learnt? how do you identify the gap?
